| WHAT IF...
I posted on this site again
Would anyone notice? I'm curious
| This xanga site will soon be entering retirement, and a new xanga shall spring up in its stead.

This post will be in celebration of the life of this dear xanga. It lived a good life, full of ups and downs, but it has stayed faithful to me all these years. I now propose a toast. *Cheers* *clapclapclapclapclapclap*
Thank you, one and all. | | |
| A sum-up of Deborah's world
- Figure skating looks kind of doofy, in my opinion, but then I remember I could never pull it off, so I can't really criticize. I like pairs better than solo
- I will never understand bulemics, because throwing up is about the grossest thing ever...
- Spending time with lots of greyhounds makes me miss my dog more than ever. I want a dog so bad.
- Rodeo break ROCKS. I love Tucson.
EDIT (wednesday): Let's start a band called Taking Back the Old Campus. I want it back SO much. I visited the elementary school today... . I totally support the elementary school, but... ...I want the old campus. they can KEEP the new facilities, new classrooms, everything at the new campus. just give me the old campus.

| I saw Pride and Prejudice last night. Finally.
It made me want to watch the old series again, just so I could point out the differences and assert that it was better than the new movie. My total enjoyment of the movie was impeded by my reading the book and seeing the series. I guess the movie can stand on its own, and if you haven't read the book, it would be a great movie, to be sure. But it just wasn't the same. Everything was compressed for the sake of length, which is understandable, but... it really doesn't compare to the more faithful series. There wasn't enough character devopment, and I didn't like the new characters as much anyway: Elizabeth laughed too much - all of the sisters did, I think - and Darcy was too sullen at the beginning. He's supposed to be distainful, but not glum. And, hey, let's just make up lines when there's a script right in front of us, ready for the taking!
If you haven't seen or read Pride and Prejudice, then this post means nothing to you, but since you haven't seen or read it, then go do so.
